"Letters of Note: Correspondence deserving a wider audience”
is a fascinating blog that I just found.
The blog posts letters of famous and un-famous people that, like the
blog’s title says, deserve to be shared.
All of the blogs tug on your emotions, whether it’s something humorous
or something serious. For instance, the
first blog I read was titled "Kiss My Ass" and it was about an awesome letter
from the 70s between the Alabama Attorney General and an unhappy member of the
KKK. It is both serious and funny, and you just have to read it. This letter and the others letters bring
emotions into history. The blog has letters relating to all sorts of topics from Will and Grace to Franklin Roosevelt’s
death, and is definitely worth checking out.
